You Can Trust God
That was the subject of an email that I received a few days ago. I was really encouraged by it and I thought – Why keep this only for myself?? So here it is….
The LORD is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in him, and he helps me. My heart leaps for joy, and with my song I praise him (Psalm 28:7).
I want to encourage you to trust God today.
- Trust God to bring you a harvest even when people do not acknowledge the seed you’ve sown.
- Trust God to open doors for you even when people have tried to slam them shut.
- Trust God to bring you new opportunities when others seem to have snatched away what should have been yours.
- Trust God to promote you when those who should have, didn’t.
- Trust God to vindicate you, protect you and reward you, even if people don’t.
- Trust God to bring the right people into your life, even though others may have used you, betrayed you or discarded you.
People may have left you, disappointed you, not come through for you, but God never has left or forsaken you. And He never will. Your pain matters to Him. He bottles your tears. He is not aloof, detached or indifferent. You can cling to Him today. Don’t run from God; run to Him!
