Yesterday was that time of the year: chocolate, teddy bears, tons of flowers and romantic dinners. How was your day? How are you feeling today? Will you stop loving or searching for love just because St. Valentine is over?
How do you see LOVE? What does love means to you?
Love is different – we don’t see things the same, and that is not a bad thing. Unfortunately, we live in a society that shapes how we see love, shapes the way we see and accept love. Yesterday, I found this video from Jon Foreman (yes, we all love Switchfoot and yes, we all know who Jon Foreman is) on Youtube – he says some really good stuff in this short video.
Please take 4 minutes of your time and listen to it. Because you deserve to be loved and you deserve to give love and love is much more than you think. Maybe love is the beauty of small moments, maybe is you visiting a friend in need, or just smiling to somebody who really had a ruff day at work.
My husband and I, we love this generation and one of our prayers for this generation is to have courage to be different:
- to go where no one wants to go
- to talk with that person that everybody ignores
- to dare to wear green in a world full of red
- to love life with passion, because life was meant to be lived this way
- to not be afraid to get hurt, because eventually, everything will fall into place
- to love God will all your heart, because He is the highest form of love – that love that changed your world
Take heart tgeneration and be different – you guys are so special, so loved, and please don’t limit yourself to just one single day because
Beauty is in the journey…
